You are using the Scintilla control for xblite, precisely SciLexer.dll version 1.6.2.0. I noticed that XSED looses some possibilities when using another version, even a later one.

Do you think that you should inform Neil Hodgson on the features that you need in XSED?

1. I am sure that Neil would be happy to hear of an expert use of Scintilla,
2. he would not remove features as it would break existing Scintilla editors,
3. you could make suggestion of possible evolutions of Scintilla,
4. he might be interested in a usability feedback as he is himself invoved in Scite, his own Scintilla editor,
And finally, you could offer to contribute to the Scite project: features list, User interface advices, beta testing.....
